If you know your car is too big for the parking spot don’t let a little thing like that deter you, park like an Italian and you will always fit!

Heh. Well, it’s one way to solve the problem.
For sure! If I did it, I’d get a ticket for sure!

Me too. I never get away with that kind of thing!
It is not even funny 😦
I know….and this is one of many, I think I could do a blog on parking photos alone!
Oh my goodness!
This post is great and so true!! When I studied in Rome, I would just laugh at how ridiculous the park jobs were! haha
Yes! I’m glad I bought back a memory for you……there is at least one everyday that I think ‘are you serious?!’ 🙂
My wife’s always telling me to park like that… I just can’t bring myself to do it though. But I think you’ve got to admire someone who has the balls to just leave their car like that!
I take my hat off to them, I know if I did it I’d get a ticket for sure!
Lol! And I just got a 60e ticket on Tuesday parking on a FREE parking lot (but forgetting to put a little board in the window that shows my arrival time).
Oh no!!! Damn those signs, they have them here too and I’m glad I don’t drive here, I have a feeling I’d get a few tickets myself!
What’s wrong with that!!
We were constantly in fits of laughter while we were in Italy. I love the anarchic nature of the Italians and the creative way they follow rules. We saw one guy park nose into the curb over a pedestrian crossing! When in Rome………
Well yes, quite normal, parking on the pavement so pedestrians have to walk in the road is the most common thing in our zona!
Ah yes, I use to hate that one when I was pushing a stroller around Florence!
Precisely why my son is not taking his Tahoe to live in downtown Chicago….in some cities, people would just graze that car sticking out like that! Brave parking job for sure! I was always amazed at the lines of Vespas….how would you ever know which one was yours?
That is what I would be scared of, someone taking the rear end out…..and the massive parking fine!
Love it! Ahh, how I miss driving in Italy… NOT!
I do remember Italian parking (and driving) very well. Do not miss it.
